-
Avoid getting the area wet or soaked for up to 10 days, which includes keeping your face away from water during a shower.
-
Don't wear makeup for at least a week. This is because the pigments are still settling in to the shallow cuts in your skin caused by the blading.
-
Do not pick at scabs, tug, ot itch the eyebrow area.
-
Avoid saunas, swimming and excessive sweating until the area is completely healed and you have a follow up appointment.
-
Keep your hair away from your brow line.
-
On day 3 you can start washing your brows lightly with a mild cleanser such as cetaphil, dial or dove once per day.
-
Apply aftercare ointment provided by your technician morning and night for the full 10 days unless instructed to dry heal.
-
After day 10 you can return to your normal routine.
What to expect during the healing process.
PHASE 1 - The dark phase. Days 2-5. Immediate after treatment the brows will slowly start to darken. The second day the brows are the darkest. They swell, are very solid and its obvious. This is because everything is rising to the surface to exit the skin, (pigment, blood, lymph).

PHASE 2 - The shrinking and scabbing phase. Now the brows will start to crust, harden, dry out and even scab. This is the true healing process. They will shrink and become uneven as the scabbing can happen in some areas more so than others. This is all completely normal and the healing process is different for everyone.

PHASE 3 - The disappearing phase. The last phase is the very light stage. Once the scab and crusts have fallen off the brows you are left with dead skin cells sitting on top which can cloud the brow and make them look non existent. Once they shed, the color will return but will heal lighter than they were on day 1.
